WHAT TYPES OF PIGMENTS CAN BE TREATED? Laser light treatment is appropriate for treating age spots, sun damage, and freckles on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
WHAT KINDS OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT? In general, you can expect the results of a laser treatment for brown spots to produce very long-lasting results. Some people may even experience permanent results depending on the type of pigment concern being treated. For removing brown spots, your results will last for as long as you can avoid further sun damage that will trigger more melanin production in the skin.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED? While advanced laser treatments are powerful enough to remove dark spots in as little as one treatment. Typically, one to three treatments are needed to achieve desired results.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOLLOWING TREATMENT? Most people experience a mild, sun-burn like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling, immediately following the treatment. Because SmartSkin CO2 has the distinct ability to deliver micro pulses of energy, you will experience a significantly shorter recovery time than with fully ablative lasers.
